Our Added Value :
Recruiting and selection decisions are among the most critical that
organizations make. When new recruits understand what is expected
of them and how their role supports higher-level business objectives,
they are more likely to emotionally commit to the organization, make
intelligent decisions, and focus their efforts on what counts the
most.
We fully recognize the importance of representing our clients and
their requirements both transparently and accurately. When needed,
we can assist in redesigning a role to eliminate any redundancies
or voids in accountability, and to give prospective employees thorough
awareness of what would be required for them to succeed.
Bottom line, it is fundamental that we provide our clients with the
most suitable short-listed candidates to match their requirements.
We are therefore committed to:
Maintaining a hands-on focus
Rather than taking the commonly used approach of simply delegating
assignments to research team members, our search consultants personally
undertake the lead in each search assignment. Furthermore, they
will not proceed with the search until they have an in-depth understanding
of our client’s business and the specific role in question.
This hands-on focus and dedication to detail has a direct positive
impact in how well we represent our clients to prospective candidates,
the quality and suitability of the candidates that we present to
our clients and significantly reduces the time to successfully complete
the search process.
Maintaining a large pool of potential candidates
We operate under the industry standard of an “off limits”
principle with our clients i.e. we do not take staff from one client
in order to place them with another client. By doing this one avoids
any conflicts of interests between the search company and its clients.
Naturally, the more clients that a search company has, the smaller
the accessible pool of potential candidates becomes. Put simply,
this means that, as a company works with more clients, it reduces
capability of accessing the best candidates in the market for
their clients.
We therefore follow the simple rule of containing our client-base
to just a few select organizations within each market space and
and thereby optimize our capacity to reach out to the best candidates
for our clients.
Focused Interviewing
So many decisions are based on the output from interviews. It is
therefore crucial that interviews are conducted methodically and
effectively to ensure that the feedback from candidates is relevant,
accurate and specific enough to make judgment on an individuals
suitability.
Our Search Consultants are trained in Focused Interviewing –
also known as Behavioural Event Interviewing. Through various studies,
this interviewing technique has been shown to be significantly more
effective than other interview methods in reaching consistent and
accurate selection decisions. This is largely because these techniques
elicit spontaneous data from interviewees about their behaviour
in real past situations. This is in contrast to the more traditional
techniques which often lead candidates toward, what can often only
be described as, “canned” responses.
We believe this is a fundamental factor in undertaking a thorough,
successful search process.
